OUR STORY

Blue, formerly known as Al Vicolo Restaurant, stands as a testament to our journey since the inception of our very first Sardinian culinary venture in Guildford's town center back in August 2005. Inspired by the essence of Sardinia, one of the original Blue Zones where longevity thrives, we've rebranded to reflect our commitment to longevity and culinary excellence.

Sardinia boasts six certified Blue Zone towns—Arzana, Talana, Baunei, Urzulei, Villagrande, and Seulo—and it's in Seulo, our birthplace, where our story truly begins. Here, amidst the rugged beauty of our homeland, we were nurtured on the rich tapestry of Sardinian traditions.

At Blue, we offer a fusion of traditional Sardinian and Italian cuisine with a modern twist, honoring culinary practices that have sustained generations and fostered longevity. From the earthy richness of fava beans to the artisanal craftsmanship of goat's cheese, and the robust complexity of our flavonoid-rich Cannonau wines, our menus proudly showcase the flavours of our heritage.
